Spring Travel Ball

Our Spring Travel program is designed to be a competitive environment where our teams try to win tournaments.  Depending on the registration numbers we have historically had as many as 7 spring teams (8U through 14u).

A player's baseball age is your age on 4/30/24.

Depending on the number of registrants, we will have a team for each of these age groups:

  • 8u (1 practice/week and 1-2 tournaments) - Practice starts end of Feb/beginning of March

  • 9u (1-2 practices/week and 2-3 tournaments)  - Practice starts end of February

  • 10u (2 practices/week and 3 tournaments)   - Practice starts mid-February

  • 11u (2 practices/week and 4-6 tournaments) - Practice starts beginning of February

Tournaments typically begin at the end of April and are completed by June 2nd.

They are on selected weekends ONLY- tournaments are selected by coaches dependent on feedback from parents/teams and availability. For MOST tournaments, game play is on BOTH Saturday and Sunday.

To secure your spot on the roster please:

  • Register on Team Snap

  • Pay $250 DEPOSIT

  • Why is registration so early?

    • We need enough players to make our indoor facility financially viable for this spring.

    • Tournaments fill up fast and “early bird” rates end on 12/31

    • We need time to plan: facility set up, practice schedule, coaches, tournament dates, jerseys, etc

The final cost of the season will not be determined until we know the number of players per team and how many tournaments your team will play in.

  • Historically, the final cost has been between $600-$900 per player. You will be invoiced the balance in February after these factors have been determined. The invoiced fees will be able to be set up with an installment plan option for the balance.

Did you know that it takes around $600 of each players registration to just cover these expenses:

  • Facility rental

  • Facility insurance

  • Facility utilities

  • TeamSnap fees

  • Team Insurance

  • Balls/shared equipment

  • Fitted Ball Cap

The invoiced amount in February will include:

  • Game Changer fees

  • Tournament Fees

***Fees do not include jerseys, pants, belt or socks. We will send out team store information for these items and logo wear in January***

Facility Information:

  • Summit Baseball rents an indoor space for 5 months each year (January thru May)
